About (585) Publishing
(585) magazine, greater Rochester’s only city-regional magazine, launched in May 2013. (585) focuses on the six counties of Greater Rochester that use a (585) area code—Monroe, Genesee, Livingston, Ontario, Orleans, and Wyoming—and covers food and drink, culture, destinations, and personalities of the region.
(585) magazine is published by JFM Publishing, LLC, which also publishes (585) Kids, the Upstate Gardeners’ Journal and custom titles. For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
A long-time print publisher, Jane started the Upstate Gardeners’ Journal in 1995, and purchased (585) magazine in 2019 and Roc Parent, formerly Genesee Valley Parent, in 2020, rebranding it (585) Kids. In her free time, Jane enjoys traveling with her boyfriend, playing tennis and paddle, and spending time with her daughter and grand puppy.
Before Christine became editor at (585) magazine she tried her hand at archaeology, housekeeping, and grant writing. She enjoys writing fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction. When she isn’t writing she is gardening or practicing yoga. Reach Christine at email@example.com.
