It’s easy to see why artists, poets, and photographers—from Ansel Adams to William Carlos Williams—have fallen in love with Linwood Gardens. Created as the summer home of Buffalo timber heir William Henry Gratwick II in 1901, the estate is now lovingly preserved by his granddaughter, Lee Gratwick. Silk blouse and pencil skirt from Dado. With an enviable collection of designer handbags and a closet filled with Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, and Tom Ford, Dinah can go from helmet head to Helmut Lang in less than seven seconds. To rock a vintage modern look, start with classic pieces, like this vintage Chanel suit from Panache. Mix in edgy accessories, like this leopard camisole, gold-studded belt, and emerald gloves. John, a second-generation racer, is also owner and team principal at Berg Racing. He and Dinah met at Watkins Glen during a high-performance driving event. He dangled the keys to his open cockpit racecar; she grabbed them, jumped into the car, and took off around the track. The rest is history. “We both like the quote, ‘Life begins at the end of your comfort zone,’” Dinah says. Sequined gown from Dado. Opera gloves from Panache. Accessories from Adrian Jules. Sunglasses from One Hip Chic.
